Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz fettuccine (or pasta of choice)
  • Reserved pasta water, as needed

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, boil salted water and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken until golden brown (about 6–8 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in honey and simmer for 1 minute before adding heavy cream; simmer until slightly thickened (2–3 minutes).
  4. Return chicken to skillet and toss with sauce. Add drained pasta; mix well, using reserved pasta water to adjust consistency as needed.
  5. Serve hot garnished with chopped parsley or green onions if desired.
