  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/4 cup dry white apple vinegar or chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 thick slices French or Italian bread
  • Garlic butter (softened butter mixed with minced garlic and parsley)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread garlic butter on each slice of bread and arrange them on a baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp olive oil and 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Season shrimp with salt and pepper; add to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and vinegar (or broth). Simmer for 1-2 minutes, then stir in lemon juice.
  5. Return shrimp to the skillet, toss to coat in the sauce, and serve with warm garlic bread.
