  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter, pumpkin puree, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Gradually add flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, and salt; mix until combined.
  4. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 25 minutes.
  5. Roll dough into balls (1½ – 2 tablespoons each) and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake cookies for about 18 minutes until lightly golden around the edges.
  7. While cooling, prepare frosting by mixing softened cream cheese and butter until blended; gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla.
  8. Frost cooled cookies and enjoy!
