  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 cups very hot water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, milk, melted butter (or oil), and vanilla extract until blended. Combine with dry ingredients to create a thick batter.
  4. Pour the batter into an 8-inch casserole dish.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, and chopped pecans; sprinkle over the batter.
