  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg (room temperature)
  • 2/3 cup pure canned pumpkin
  • 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Lightly spray a 9-inch square baking pan with cooking spray and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  3. Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions, adding in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat together softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Mix in egg, vanilla extract, pumpkin, and pumpkin pie spice until well combined.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Layer the pumpkin cheesecake mixture on top, followed by the remaining brownie batter.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
