  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)

  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • Cocoa powder, strawberry essence, pink food dye
  • Fluffy vanilla buttercream for frosting

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, milk, oil, yogurt, and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients without overmixing.
  5. Divide the batter into three bowls; add cocoa powder to one, strawberry essence with dye to another, and leave one as vanilla.
  6. Layer or swirl batters into liners until two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean; cool on a wire rack.
