  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 6 large eggs, room temperature
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1 cup whole milk, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Grease and flour a large bundt or tube pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the unsalted butter until creamy. Gradually add the granulated sugar and beat for 5-7 minutes until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Gradually add the flour alternately with milk, starting and ending with flour. Mix until just combined.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract and almond extract if using.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 1 hour 25-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow cooling in the pan for 15-20 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
