  • 275g granulated sugar

  • 335g all-purpose flour
  • 180ml milk
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • Pink food coloring

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F) and prepare a lightly buttered 9-inch round cake pan lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  4. Alternately mix in the dry ingredients and milk until just combined.
