  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional, for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Instructions

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes at the bottom, followed by all the meat mixture. Add the remaining potato slices on top.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth; pour over the layered ingredients. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and drizzle melted butter if desired.
