  • 1.5 lbs White Fish Fillets (Cod, Mahi-Mahi, or Tilapia)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 Limes (juiced and zested)
  • 1 clove Garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro (chopped)
  • 4 cups Shredded Cabbage
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Carrots
  • 1/4 cup Red Onion (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 12 Corn or Flour Tortillas
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Pat fish fillets dry and season with a spice rub made from chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook seasoned fish for about 3-4 minutes on each side until flaky.
  3. For the lime crema, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, garlic, cilantro, salt, and pepper.
  4. Combine cabbage, carrots, red onion, cilantro in a bowl; dress with lime juice, olive oil, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  5. Warm tortillas and assemble tacos by layering slaw at the base followed by fish and a generous drizzle of lime crema.
