  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (or substitute with another cream soup)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 box stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1.5 cups chicken broth
  • Optional: shredded cheddar cheese, frozen peas

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken with both soups, sour cream, milk, onion powder, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, combine stuffing mix with melted butter and chicken broth; stir well and spread over the chicken layer.
  5. Optionally, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake uncovered for about 35-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
