  • 1½ cups powdered icing sugar
  • ¾ cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • ½1 teaspoon mint extract (depending on your tastes)
  • green food coloring (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  4. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.

  6. For the frosting, beat together powdered sugar, butter, milk, and mint extract until creamy. Frost cooled cookies.
