  • 500g chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to package instructions; set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden (5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add onion and garlic; stir-fry for about 1 minute. Add broccoli and mushrooms; stir-fry until tender-crisp (3-4 minutes).
  4. Return chicken to the pan; add soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and optional chili flakes. Mix well.
  5. Pour in cornstarch slurry; stir continuously until sauce thickens (1-2 minutes).
  6. Serve hot over steamed rice.
