  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

  • 1/4 cup instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 33 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 5 tablespoons softened salted butter
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 5 ounces cream cheese
  • 5 tablespoons softened unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup blackberry filling (reserved from filling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the blackberry filling by cooking blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, salt, and warm water over medium heat until thickened. Set aside to cool.
  2. Create the dough by mixing warm water with yeast and sugar; let sit until foamy. Combine with milk, melted butter, yogurt, egg, salt, pudding mix, and flour until smooth. Let rise until doubled.
  3. Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread softened butter, sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon, then pour cooled blackberry filling on top. Roll tightly and slice into portions.
  4. Place rolls in a greased baking dish to rise again before baking at 350°F (175°C) for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Prepare frosting by beating together cream cheese, butter, reserved blackberry filling, powdered sugar until smooth; drizzle over warm rolls.
